

Anthony Michael DiGeronimo, “Tony Jr.,” passed away unexpectedly on March 25, 2026, at the age of 57 at his home in Gainesville, GA. Tony was born in Kansas City, Missouri, to Anthony and Frances DiGeronimo on January 7, 1969. A devoted family man, respected business leader, and trusted partner to countless clients and colleagues, Tony leaves behind a legacy defined by integrity, generosity, and an unwavering commitment to those he loved and served.
Tony was a co-founder and longtime leader of National Surety Services, Inc., where he dedicated more than three decades to the surety industry. He was widely regarded for his expertise, steady judgment, and relationship-first approach to business. To Tony, success was never just about transactions; it was about trust, partnership, and doing right by people.
Above all, Tony was deeply devoted to his family. He was a loving husband and a dedicated father. Family gatherings, shared time, and creating lasting memories were central to who he was.
Tony valued life’s simple joys—spending time at the lake, traveling, and anything that surrounded him with family and friends. Those who knew him well will remember his generous spirit, boisterous laugh, and genuine smile.
He is preceded in death by his father, Anthony DiGeronimo; his uncle, Michael DiGeronimo; his aunt, Barbara Bruno; his brother, Patrick DiGeronimo; and his niece, Cassidy Hall.
He is survived by his wife, Angella; his daughters, Andrea, Catherine, and Emma; his mother, Frances DiGeronimo; his uncles, Richard DiGeronimo and Alex Mesquita; his siblings, Angela, Nicol (Gil), Michael (Nikki), and Jaime (Meghan); his nieces and nephews, James, Joseph, Elizabeth, Jayden, Kaitlyn, William, Nicholas, Sofia, and Ryan; and his great-nephews, Christian, Tristen, and Damon.
A memorial Mass to celebrate Tony's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 10, 2026 at All Saints Catholic Church in Dunwoody, GA. Reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Tunnels to Towers Foundation or that acts of kindness be extended in Tony’s memory.
Tony’s legacy lives on in the family he loved, the business he built, and the many lives he touched through his work, mentorship, and friendship.
