

Arlene was born in Great Neck, New York to Peggy and Loris Sinanian on May 12, 1960. She went to school at North Springs High School, Spalding Drive Elementary in Sandy Springs and St. John Fisher Elementary in Palos Verdes, California. Arlene graduated from the University of Georgia with a double major in Biology and Chemistry.
Arlene worked first at the Environmental Protection Agency, followed by becoming Founder and President of Shamrock Industries. Her most treasured endeavor of the past 15 years was as Owner and Founder of Pupcakes Playcare – doggie daycare, grooming and pampering located in Buckhead, Georgia.
Arlene was actively involved in Happy Tails Pet Therapy providing physical, emotional, social and cognitive therapy to people of all ages. She served with deep dedication and dignity as President of Happy Tails for many years. Beyond her work at Happy Tails, Arlene helped countless individuals in real and profound ways, always selflessly and without indebting those she helped.
On the competitive side of life, Arlene trained vigorously with her dogs for Agility Training competitions, traveling near and far to compete. Her hobbies were people and pups of all ages with their people; her devotion was sharing with them in laugher and joy and play.
Arlene was preceded in death by her mother, Peggy Gavin Sinanian who left us in September 2024.
Arlene is survived by her father, Loris Sinanian; sisters, Linda Sinanian Forden and husband Jeffrey Forden, Claire Bartlett and husband Darrell Bartlett; brother, Stephen Sinanian and wife, Kelly DuPree; nephews and nieces, Deacon Sinanian, Huxley Sinanian, Ben Bartlett and wife Katie, Bartlett, Joseph Bartlet and Patrick Bartlett; and grandnieces: Isla and Eden Bartlett.
Arlene was laid to rest on June 4th in a quiet, intimate Interment Mass lovingly served by her father, Deacon Loris Sinanian. Memorial gatherings will be held far and wide by her friends. Arlene was a person who gave her entire being to everyone she met. Her friends became family; their mutual love and devotion embraced and uplifted.
