Arthur Garfield Magruder, 60, of Atlanta, went to be with his Savior, May 1, 2010. Mr. Magruder was employed with ADT and a board member of the Foundation Fighting Blindness. Preceded in death by his parents Arthur Garfield Magruder and Gertrude Magruder Sanford, Survivors include his loving wife, Sharon W. Magruder, children, Kenneth G. Zaleski, II (Stacie) ; Jessica M Coffman (Baylor) ; Dr. Joshua D. Zaleski (Lauren) ; grandchildren, Henry Zaleski, Catherine Zaleski, Madeline Zaleski, Banks Coffman, Parker Coffman; very special sister, Sylvia Joye Lane (Theron); nephews and niece, Marshall Lane (Kim); Scott Lane(Denise); Sherri Waller(Doug) and several great nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 4th at 11:30 at Oglethorpe Hill Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at H.M. Patterson & Son, Oglethorpe Hill chapel, 4550 Peachtree Road, NE, Atlanta, Georgia, 30319.
