His journey into this world began under great distress, a traumatic delivery led to Hypoxic-Ischemic Encephalopathy, a critical brain injury. Though he was so small, he carried a strength larger than life. His arrival shook us to the core. Doctors doubted. Outcomes were uncertain. But from the very beginning, our “Big Bear” carried more power than any prognosis could hold. He was strength wrapped in softness, a miracle in motion.
In the days and years that followed, Avn was diagnosed with spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy & epilpesy, but never once did those words define who he was. Avn was light. Laughter. Softness. Strength. He taught us resilience in silence, and joy without words. Every breath he took was a miracle. Every moment, a blessing.
He was a gentle soul with the heart of a warrior and the softness of a star.
Though he spoke no words, his spirit spoke volumes.
His laughter, those contagious, bubbling giggles was music that lifted every heart.
His eyes held galaxies. His quiet moments whispered comfort.
Avn loved cuddles and welcomed kisses. He was effortlessly just cool, stylish little guy who wore his curls like a crown and his resilience like a cape. He was sunshine on stormy days, calm in the chaos, and joy in its purest form.
He lived.
He loved.
He taught.
Through hospital stays, needles, pokes and prods, the long nights, he remained steady and full of grace, reminding us that strength isn’t loud, and courage doesn’t always roar.
Our arms ache to hold him again.
Our hearts overflow with a grief we never imagined.
It’s not fair.
But in this storm, we lean on our God. Though He takes from us, still we will bless His name. We ask for healing, for strength, and for peace that surpasses all understanding.
Avn was our joy, our strength, our sunshine — and in our love for him, he will live on.
