Polhemus, her sisters, Merlee Knight and Jackie Moore and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Taze (Tee) L. Senn of Clemson, SC, a brother, Arlie J. Connor and her sisters, Leo Merrithew and Joyce Renau. Betty attended Mars Hill College, The Citadel, and graduated from Coker College in 1958. She married Ted C. Yarborough in March 1958 and they amicably divorced in 1979. She worked in the Horticulture Department of Clemson University from May 1958 until June 1963, when they moved to Atlanta, GA. Betty then began a career at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where she became the Head of the Human Resources Department of GTRI until the time of her retirement in 1993. Betty married Tee Senn on May 3, 1997 in the Botanical Gardens at Clemson, which Tee founded. They lived in Clemson until his passing in January 2016. She had just moved to Atlanta in April to live with her daughter for care after a long, valiant fight with pancreatic cancer. She was a member of Clemson United Methodist Church and their Miriam Circle and volunteered at several organizations. Betty was known for her generous, giving spirit. She loved her family and was most proud of her grandchildren. She also leaves behind her two cats, Miss Kitty and Miss Prissy and her great-grand dog, "Charlie". Our family would like thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, cards, food and visits over these last two plus years. Your prayers are what kept us going through the difficult times. We also appreciate the outpouring of support and expressions of sympathy we have received since mom's passing. It truly has been a blessing to know how many people loved her and how much they thought of her. A visitation will be held at H.M.
