Betty W. Singleton, age 86, of Atlanta passed away peacefully on August 19, 2014. “Miss Betty” was a Crossing Guard and Cashier at E. Rivers Elementary School for over 20 years. She will fondly be remembered as she was loved by many. She is survived by her children, Albert “Buddy” Singleton, Jr. and wife Terri, Suzi Singleton and Joanne H. Heery; 2 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Singleton. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at H.M. Patterson & Son Oglethorpe Hill Chapel at 3:00 PM. Burial will be held at Roger’s Cemetery in McColl, SC on Friday. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Parkinson’s Foundation.
