Here is the additional photo of Carmen at my 50th Birthday Party.

I was so saddened to hear of Carmen's passing.  She was such a joy in my life. We met playing cards in San Jose. She came to my 50th Birthday party in September of 2004.  She and I share the same birth sign.  She was such a kind and supportive person as many of her family shared during her memorial service.  Even when she moved away from San Jose, we stayed connected via Facebook and she would always 'like" many of my posts.  I will miss her dearly; however, I am most thankful of having met her and to have her as part of my life.  Please know that your loved one was an integral part of the many lives she touched.  I have attached two photos that were taken of Carmen at my 50th Birthday Party. 

On behalf of the Floyd (Uncle Skippy) Garnett family, we are so sorry for your loss.  We love Carmen and will miss her laughter and smile.  We love you and will keep you in our prayers.

Carmen will always call me and start the convo with: What’s up cuz!  I loved to hear her laugh and she told it like it was!  I’m going to miss my cousin dearly but I know she’s in paradise now ❤️

Our family always celebrated the women of the family for Mother’s Day, us ladies always went out to lunch/dinner before the day and we always gave out cards. We were very close so our cards would be very special for each person. The cards would make you cry they were so beautiful. Carmen said I will give you guys the best cards next year. She did well I love you Sal, rest easy. Hug my mom for me,

I met Carmen in 2002  when i began doing her hair.  While providing hair services, she and I  discovered that we both had a passion for business. She and I worked diligently to write out a business plan and multiple documents that were needed to help me start a business. 
We grew very close and she became like a mentor. She was awesome at thinking out of the box.and helping you to see things a different way.I loved talking to her to see what her thoughts were .
We grew even closer and she became like a mother/ sister. We would talk for hours about everything and the one thing that she taught me about courage is to say what is the worst thing that can happen? If the worst is not bad you should go for it. Carmen was wise, loving, caring, funny, and honest. She was such a strong God fearing women. No one could ever replace her. I love so much. I know that she will Rest In Peace.

You've always meant so very much and always will do too
The fact that you're no longer here will always bring me pain; making your "tata" salad will never be the same😆

To RJ, and family  your mom will be truly  missed but not forgotten.   We shared  plenty  of family memories and  much love towards each other.  I will  miss our conversations  over the phone and on FB I also will  miss sharing my trip to visit and seeing her hometown we talked about over the phone.   My heart is sadden by her  loss ,  she will always be in my prayers and will continue to hear her laugh.   May you take care and remember  God  only take the best.   Amen
