Caroline Grace Brewer, 10, of Brookhaven, GA was welcomed into the loving arms of Jesus on December 22, 2024. Caroline fought an almost 8-year battle with brain and spine cancer with a warrior’s heart and a smile on her face.
Born on January 2, 2014, Caroline was a beloved daughter of Jamie (Gambol) Brewer and Matthew Brewer and sister to her loving brothers, William (14) and Jackson Brewer (12).
Caroline brought so much joy to the lives of her family and all who knew her. Her laughter could light up a room, her witty comments could stop you in your tracks, and her heart was always so very kind. Caroline loved her friends and family fiercely. She loved the beach where she felt most at peace and could run freely. She also loved Sephora, Ulta, Starbucks, Taylor Swift, chips and queso and endless shopping. As she bravely fought cancer over the years, she shared how passionate she was about finding better treatments and an ultimate cure for pediatric brain cancer.
Caroline leaves behind her grandmothers, Alana Smith (Bob) and Barbara Brewer; her aunt Kara Galbraith (Marc); her uncle Edwin Brewer and her uncle David Brewer (Melynda). She also leaves her cousins Evelyn and Ryan Galbraith and Landry and Austin Brewer. She is preceded in death by her uncle, Jason Evans Brewer; her nana, Mary Susan Marshall Brewer; and her grandfathers Donald Elmer “Pete” Brewer and James Owen Gambol.
A memorial service will be held at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church on January 4th, 2025 at 1pm. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:30am – 12:45pm. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers and at Caroline’s request the family asks that donations be made to the Rally Foundation and to Aurora Day Camp – Greater Atlanta, both of which are organizations that Caroline loved dearly and who supported her through her entire cancer journey.
