Cecilia "Celia" Evelyn Sibley

Cecilia “Celia” Evelyn Sibley passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at the age of 86. Celia is survived by her four children and six grandchildren, Larry Domenico (Karen, Will, and Katie), Steven Domenico (Jennifer, Lauren, and Rocco), Allen Domenico (Virginia, Natalie, and Nicholas), and Evelyn Adams (Patrick). Celia was the daughter of William Franklin Sibley, Jr. and Evelyn Margerite Brannen Sibley. After attending college, Celia began her career working at TV Guide. While raising her children, Celia worked as a reporter for the Atlanta Journal and Constitution for many years. Celia loved all animals, books, and Waffle House. Saint Bede’s Episcopal Church was her parish home since the mid-1970’s. The family will have a private memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a gift may be made to Saint Bede’s Episcopal Church, 2601 Henderson Mill Rd., Atlanta, Georgia 30345 (Stbedes.org).
