Born in Lansing, Michigan, Charles was the son of Frederick and Zelma Gettz . He is survived by his loving wife, Jackie Gettz; son and daughter-in-law, James and Susie Gettz, as well as his grandchildren Katie Maupin and Andrew Gettz.
After graduating from Michigan State University, Charles started working at Pfizer Inc. at their world headquarters in New York City, where he remained for over 25 years. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed jazz music, reading, gardening, and playing with his dogs.
Though Charles is no longer with us, his spirit lives on in the memories of those who loved him. He will be profoundly missed, forever cherished, and never forgotten.
