Claire W. Foster, 82 of Chamblee, GA., passed away on May 24, 2012. She was born in Macon, GA., October 31, 1929. She was married to Guy L. Foster, Sr. who died in 2008 for more than 60 years. She and Guy owned and operated Peachtree Cleaners in Chamblee for more than 40 years. Surviving are her three sons, Guy L. Foster, Jr. (Barbara), Joel Preston Foster, and Donald Alan Foster (Claire); three sisters, Maryann Woodman (Bob), Priscilla Puckett, Carroll Cox (John); and six grandchildren, Katherine Foster, Victoria Potter (Eric), Brian Foster, Luke Foster, Kristi Foster and Emily Foster. Funeral Services will be held at 2 o’clock, Saturday, May 26th at the H. M. Patterson & Son-Oglethorpe Hill Chapel, 4550 Peachtree Road NE, Atlanta, Ga. 30319. Reverend J. R. McAliley will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1 o’clock until the hour of service. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park. Donations to St. Joseph Hospital of Atlanta, GA., would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
