Clyde Thomas Jenkins, 87, of Atlanta died March 18, 2014. A Navy Veteran of WWII, Mr. Jenkins served in the European and Asian Theatre and retired as Captain of the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department, He also served as past president of the Atlanta Chapter of the Blue Knights. Preceded in death by his first wife, Doris Baldwin Jenkins, he is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, Clyde Thomas Jenkins, Jr. and his wife Debbie, Robert Keith Jenkins, sister, Martha Durden and beloved friend, Joann Ford and her sons, Darrell Grimes and Greg Grimes. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 23rd at 2pm at Oglethorpe Hill Chapel. Interment Arlington Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at H.M. Patterson & Son, Oglethorpe Hill Chapel, 4550 Peachtree Road, NE, Atlanta, Georgia, 30319.
