

Dennis Allen Koehler, age 55, of Dunwoody, GA passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2014. He was born and grew up in Little Rock, AR, attended Catholic High School, and graduated from Loyola in New Orleans, LA. Dennis began his career with Bell South and became an AT&T National Account Manager for Coca Cola Enterprises, Days Inn Hotels, and McDermott Intl. He also worked for CGI/AMS as a consultant. He started his own company in 1997, ClearPath Consulting Group, designing voice/data networks for several Fortune 500 companies including Wells Fargo and Security Pacific Bank. He also worked as a consultant and later as Senior Vice President and Director of Sales for Palm Coast Data. Dennis enjoyed traveling and watching the Atlanta Braves and St. Louis Cardinals. He was an incredible chef and was a very dedicated family man. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor. He appreciated the intellectual stimulation of a great debate. To his family he was known as Den Den. He was predeceased by his parents, Bob and Mary Ellen Koehler. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Barbara Stanfield Koehler, his children Joe Koehler, Nikki Stanfield, and Jacob Koehler, and two granddaughters Maria and Sophia. His siblings include Liz Koehler, RSM., Pee Wee Smith, Bud (Laurie) Koehler, Duane (Tammie) Koehler, Ken (Lesia) Koehler, Michelle (Greg) Haydel. The family will receive visitors at Dunwoody Baptist Church on Saturday, November 1, 2014. Visitation will be at 1:30PM, with a memorial service at 2:30PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the American Heart Association.
