Mrs. Donna Izlar

IZLAR, Donna Hauck died in Atlanta, GA, on January 23, 2019. She was born on March 27, 1930 in Aberdeen SD, the oldest child of Valentine Felix Hauck and Mary Kessler Hauck. She graduated from the University of North Carolina in 1953 and attended graduate school at the University of Virginia. In 1960 she and her husband William H. Izlar Jr, moved to Atlanta, where they raised their family. Donna and Bill were married for 60 years before he died in 2012. She is survived by her sons William H. Izlar III (Nancy), Paul R.P. Izlar (Helen), daughter Donna Reavely, twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was predeceased by her son James K. Izlar and granddaughter, Janet D. Izlar. Donna was a long time member of The Cathedral of Christ the King. She also served on the boards of the Atlanta Symphony and Goodwill Industries (Atlanta)

A private service will be held on Friday February 8th, with a reception following at 11:30 at The Piedmont Driving Club.
