Dudley was born in Akron, Ohio to Dudley J. and Mildred DeCastro on September 9, 1947. He graduated from Springfield High School in 1965. Dudley married Louise Walker DeCastro on January 6, 1968 in Akron, Ohio and later moved his family to the Atlanta area. The majority of his career was spent in the automotive service industry with J.C. Penney, Firestone, Ford, and Carmax. Dudley’s passions and hobbies included traveling to eleven countries, bowling, and antiquing. He LOVED cars and owned over 50 automobiles in his lifetime.
Dudley was preceded in death by his parents, Dudley and Mildred DeCastro and his daughter, Tammy DeCastro.
Dudley is survived by his wife, Louise DeCastro, his son, Joseph (Christine) DeCastro, his siblings, Doreen Jeanneret, Vicki Keirns, Ronald DeCastro, Margie Duesenberry, and a large extended family.
There will be a visitation and service on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at H.M. Patterson & Sons, Oglethorpe Hill Chapel at 4550 Peachtree Rd NE. Brookhaven, GA 30319. The visitation will be from 10:00 AM-11:45 AM and the memorial service will be held at the same location at 12:00 PM.
