Mr. Edwin Francis Kozar, age 86 of Chamblee passed away Sunday June 12, 2011. Mr. Kozar served as a customer service representative for 48 years with United Airlines and also worked at the Playland Roller in the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Greta Kozar; Sons and daughters in law, Edwin and Thea Kozar Jr. and Michael and Kim Kozar; daughters and son in law Irene Kozar and Michelle and John Curtin; brother and sister in law, Chuck and Betty Kozar and sister, Shirley Koehne and 8 grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Kozar will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2011, 10:00AM at the H.M. Patterson & Sons-Oglethorpe Hill Chapel. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8PM. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted but those desiring to make contributions may do so the Altus House Hospice, 4511 Northland Dr. Atlanta, GA 30342.
