Eric it's been a year since you received your wings and ascended to Heaven.  I miss you and will never forget you. 💔 

I met Eric at the Miracle Mile box office when I went to see Candyman with my dad.  He was a cute guy and a sweet person.  Rest In Peace Eric.  Although we were not friends I am sad to hear of his passing and wish his family love and healing.

Dan and I met Eric and Tom in Sydney at Mardi Gras - and we hit it off immediately. A long-standing friendship was forged!  We visited often from Australia and again after we returned to the United States. We will miss Eric’s smiling face but will treasure the memories we have made since we met. Our thoughts are with Brett and Eric’s family - you have our heartfelt condolences. 

  It's hard to find the words for someone who can be described as many things. Eric was unlike anyone I've ever met. He taught me alot and gave me opportunities that many would not and for that I am forever greatful. I will miss our daily messages in chat. Our weekly  meetings and just being able to ask you anything, talk about anything and sharing TMI lol. I'm pretty sure you know by now you will never be forgotten! May you get the well rest you deserve and know that you will always be loved and cherished. My thoughts and prayers are with Brett, and all of Eric's family and friends. 

Words cannot express how shocked and saddened I am for the loss of our dear friend and colleague.  Eric would always greet me with a smile… even when I knew he was about to tell me one of my many urgent ticket requests, well,  wasn’t quite so urgent.  😊 Eric will always be in our hearts, and I’m going miss him dearly!  Brett, I can’t imagine what you’re going through, and I’m praying you find comfort and strength to get through. My thoughts and prayers are with you and all that loved Eric.   

Having known Eric for a short period, I can say that he was one of the kindest people I've ever met. Every day I came into the office, he made sure I had what I needed to be successful and feel like part of the team, starting on day one. It's easy to see he applied this same care to everyone through all the memories people have shared. My condolences to Eric's family, loved ones, and friends.

I am truly blessed to have met and worked with Eric.  He was a genuinely kind-hearted person who greeted you with a big smile.  His presence will truly be missed, along with his positivity.

Eric was always nice to me he showed himself friendly the first day that I meet him and Brett . Every time I seen him he  always had such a beautiful smile. Our younger days met when we were kids, lost touch when I went off to college.  Seems like yesterday.  I have a few pics of our party days !

Eric's unexpected and early departure leaves all of us heartbroken and in a deep shock. Working with Eric over the past few years has been an amazing experience. Even though we differed on our approach to finding solutions to problems, he was always very pragmatic and accommodating, always trying to understand the other side and make the right call. He was always upbeat and eager to face issues head-on. Many times Eric would reply to emails late at night or early in the morning, demonstrating his great leadership of the IT organization, he had everything under control, no matter how chaotic things got.

Eric will be greatly missed. May God bless his soul and show him mercy so he may continue his joyful journey for eternity. May God give peace of heart and consolation to Eric's relatives and friends.

I have wonderful memories of your brother. I’m sorry for your loss Scott & Mike. He is a beautiful soul. I hope to see him in my dreams. He used to take me for rides on his three wheeler and I had to hang on for my life.￼ It was exhilarating. I think I was scared out of my gourd.

Eric was the first person that I saw when I entered AmeriSave for the first time 1 1/2 years ago. He saw me looking lost and helped me find my seat. I initially thought he was scary due to his title, since I never interacted with higher ups, but that couldn't have been more further from the truth. He always had his office door open and entertained my shenanigans every time I barged with a dumb question or silly request for something to get for the office (like the basketball hoop). Every time I complained about an issue or a ticket I was working on to him he would always tell me to knock it off cause that's what he did and that I should be better than he was. I'll forever miss our constant battle over that light switch next to your office in the mornings. May your soul find peace and to Brett my deepest condolences to you during this time.

Eric was always a stand-up person and had the energy to match. He would light up the office when he walked in, I mean that in the literal sense because we'd always have the lights off, but its the little things like that which will surely be missed around here. My thoughts and prayers go out to his loved ones, and I hope that he found peace. Thank you for everything Eric! We'll keep the lights one for you don't worry.

My heart goes out to all of Eric's family, friends, co-workers, and especially Brett.  Anytime I needed Eric's help he was always there, and I knew I could always count on him. His answer was always the same, "For you, Missy, we'll figure it out". I know I wasn't the only one. Brett, I am so very sorry for your loss.  I will continue to keep you close in my thoughts and prayers, and may you find comfort in the beautiful memories that you carry in your heart. 

Eric was a wonderful human being who was loved by all. He'd help everyone, and do so with that magnetic smile he had. No job was too big or too small for him. He'd do them all with enthusiasm, commitment, and perfection. I am grateful our paths crossed. The impressions he made on me over the 12 years I knew him will forever live in my heart and my memories.

Eric will truly be missed, it was just so refreshing to see that smile on his face. Eric you will always be loved and never forgotten. My prayers are your the family.

I have known Eric practically for my entire adult life; he was coeval with the overall arc of my career, and had a role to play in shaping my chosen specialisation. Throughout the different phases of my life, Eric was a key constant; my last employer (in a sense), my first customer, he always treated me with kindness and generosity. I'll always remember him for his good nature, his humour, his charisma and knack for working with people, his expertise, and preternatural ability to stay calm while under considerable pressure. 

I'm shocked and saddened by his death. He was taken far too soon, and his loss will be vividly felt by all who had the honour to know him.

So very shocked and saddened at the news of Eric passing. I worked with Eric for years and always thought very highly of him. I appreciated all of the help (big or small). I know all of his family, friends, and colleagues were so proud of him.  PS—thank you for allowing us to “Hello Kitty” Larry’s entire work set up 😊
 Brett—I will keep you in my thoughts in prayers over the upcoming days and weeks. Y’all were the best partners to each other and I cannot imagine what you are going through. Sending all my love and comfort  to you. 

I cannot express all the words of shock that you were taken from us, and Brett so soon.  Not only were you a professional colleague, but a dear friend, amazing technical “ fixer” of all my issues and a lover of cats! 
Regardless of the problem at hand, you always appeared with a smile on your face ( even if forced), and a resolution! 😀 
You must know what a huge void your loss is to your family, friends and colleagues. We know the biggest loss is to Brett and I’m sure you are watching over him and the fur babies.

I am out of words and expressions on how much Eric will be missed. I am perhaps the most new colleague and friend of Eric. Worked and Known Eric since Feb 2022. Even in that short time we hit it off well to also grow a friendship. Eric has the most contagious Smile on his face that i have had to luxury of knowing. He is a kind, modest and most helpful person that i had the luxury of calling a friend in that short time.

Will dearly miss him. I saw his smile, joy and laughter when i met with him last Friday and that is will be my Everlasting memory of Eric. I know I will miss him!

It’s so evident from all the messages from colleagues here that Eric was so well liked at work.  Eric was always witty, helpful, dedicated and fun - I’m glad to have known and worked with him.

Eric was absolutely one of a kind. Working with Eric over the past 14 years was wonderful, and he was a great ally to have. He was funny, witty, and his laugh was infectious. I’m better for knowing him, and still can’t believe he’s gone. He was part of the AmeriSave foundation and it’s hard to believe he won’t be there anymore. I’ll miss him so much.

Eric was my boss' boss' boss, but he'd still show up to the office when he could. We'd always know he walked into the room as he switched on the lights and blinded us in the morning before we'd woken up. I guess it was just in his nature to light up any place he walked into. Rest in peace, Eric

I didn't have the honor of knowing Eric for very long, from reading the messages of those that knew him well...  it's clear that the nice, caring guy that I met, was just a glimpse of how great he truly was.  It saddens me that it was cut short, but I'm happy to have said that I met him...  My heart goes out to his loved ones.  

Eric is so kind to all people. He are so helpful when we had questions. He is a great person, always has his smile on his face. Eric, you will always be missed, hope you rest in heavenly pace. We will always be in the same family of AmeriSave. 

I met Eric & Brett in November 2014 when transitioning to Amerisave. My first impression of Eric was that he was very focused on his job, doing it right, & to please stay out of his way lol - he would agree & laugh at that. In the 7+ years that I've been with Amerisave he has been the BEST to work with & was always there if I needed him to assist me. And when we emailed or spoke, it wasn't just business, it was 'hey, how are you doing, what's been goin on'...our conversations always made me smile & laugh...I'm so thankful to have had not only a wonderful teammate, but also a friend. Eric will be missed by too many people to count...peace be with you my friend.

One thing that always stood out to me was how Eric always helped out when needed. It did not matter how busy he was, which was always the case. He was such a dedicated hard working person, he will be missed every day. 

What a wonderful person and fellow co -worker.  Eric was always the most positive person and never said an un-kind word.  His presence will be greatly missed at AmeriSave.

Eric was one of the first people to speak to me my very first day at Amerisave. Throughout the years, he was always there to make us laugh, and help us through any issues. I have known Eric since 2015 and I am blessed to have him as my colleague and a friend. He was a very good man with a BIG heart. Always with a big smile that was contagious to all of us. Eric cared about everyone around him whether it was a colleague, friend, family. He was one of the best human beings I have worked with. Always ready to help no matter how big the ask is with a smile. In Eric we lost one of our most beloved colleagues and a void that will not be easy to fill. Eric was always great to work with; always willing to lend a helping hand & if he couldn’t help - he’d find someone that could. He would bring joy to any room he entered. He will be truly missed 

I remember all the many times Eric was a help to us but one thing I treasure is him comforting me after the passing of my cat.  The humanity and compassion he showed at a difficult time is the same warmth and caring he brought to his job and all the many times he helped us get things done.

I'll never forget the very first time I met you. You interviewed me over Zoom with Kelly for my job. From then on, you made me feel at home. There was never a time where I couldn't approach you about literally anything (unless you were in a meeting haha). Before meeting you I always put people in power on a pedestal as if they could make no mistakes, but you were so down to Earth and personal and approachable. You always make sure that i had what I needed. I'll never forget how you made me feel so welcome after sharing something very personal with you. You were the life of the IT department and the entire Atlanta office. I just wanted to say thank you Eric. I met Eric in June of 2005 when I started work at AmeriSave.  He was like my right-hand and my favorite colleague at work.  I so loved talking with Eric as he was smart, witty, and had a great sense of humor.  We shared many laughs together.  I miss him dearly.

The passing of Eric is a tremendous loss to all who knew and loved him. Eric and I worked together for 15 years and it will never be the same without him, he was always there to help and support me whenever I needed a friend or helping hand. We will miss his laugh and smile that he greeted us with each and every day as we passed him in the hall.  Most of all I will miss looking up and seeing him at my desk with that grin that always meant he was about to ask me for something (that more than likely I wasn’t not going to be happy about) like could I give up some space, a storage room or shelfs that he needed for a project, but we always seem to work it out ( he usually won).
