A very special thank you to our family and friends for honoring Ernest in so many ways.  To those of you who were present at the Celebration of Ernest's Life at the Kellett Chapel (Peachtree Presbyterian Church, our family extends appreciation.  I was very proud of our adult children (Marybeth, Laura & David), along with our grandchildren, as they paid tribute to Ernest.  We thank Lucy (Ernest's sister) and her family for being with us as well. The kind words and the lovely remembrances from so many individuals touched our hearts.  Ernest will always be remembered with love and remembrances of the devotion he showed to each family member.  His outreach was always in his humble, understated style, and we admired him for the brave battle that he waged with Alzheimer's.  There was never a time when he complained.  Rather, he lived every day of his life (even until his last) telling us he loved us, and we all will never forget all that he did to enrich our lives.  He is an inspiration to me, and I will miss him every day of my life.  His legacy remains our children and grandchildren, and his spirit continues to be vibrant and ever-present. May God bless him forever.

Sweet Doris, What a beautiful legacy you and your husband have built. We have been blessed by your friendship and that of all of your children and all of your grandchildren. It is a beautiful family, built on a strong foundation. We pray you feel the love of your Savior during this time of temporary separation.

So saddened to learn of you and your family's loss.  I have such fond memories of all the Robertson children at Riverwood High School.  Another fond memory was having Doris as my supervisor with the Fulton County School System.  I had the pleasure of getting to know Ernest through all of you.  God Bless each one of you.

Dear David and family:  My heartfelt prayers are with you.  Ernest sounds like a wonderful man and I know that you will miss him greatly. I am sure that knowing he is in a better place with our Lord and Savior is very comforting to you.  May God's love and peace surround you and comfort you.
