Fred William Carley

Fred William Carley, 91, of Atlanta, GA, passed away on January 18, 2017. Visitation will take place at H.M. Patterson's Spring Hill Chapel on Monday, January 23, 2017 from 9:30am until the funeral service begins at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Crest Lawn Cemetery.

Fred was preceded in death by his wife, Helen E. Carley of 53 years. He is survived by his son, Harry Carley and wife, Deborah; brother, Don Carley; granddaughter, Lisa Walters and husband, Bronson; grandson, Darrell Carley and wife, Devon; great grandchildren, Ashley (Walters) Collier and husband, Clint, Logan Walters, Brady Walters, Preston Carley and Addison Carley; great-great grandchild, Brooklyn Collier.

Fred was a World War II veteran and served in the United States Marine Corp, serving in the Pacific and was a Purple Heart recipient.

Fred was a member of Chattahoochee First Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA for many years. He had also attended Victory Baptist Church in Marietta, GA.
