
Fred Joseph Maloof,Jr., 60, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, went home to be with the Lord on August 27, 2013. Born, June 4, 1953 in Atlanta, Georgia, Mr. Maloof was a life long resident of Atlanta and attended Saint Anthony’s elementary school, Cross Keys High School, and Georgia State University. Mr. Maloof was a realtor and tax consultant in Atlanta, as well as a co-owner of The Villager, a family run restaurant in Tucker, Georgia. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Marijo Jackson Maloof, son David Maloof of Norcross, brothers Joseph Maloof and Stephen Maloof, and sisters Gloria Maloof Hawk, Jennifer Maloof May, and Maureen Maloof, all of Atlanta. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. A rosary will be said at H.M. Patterson & Son, Oglethorpe Hill, Chapel, 4550 Peachtree Road, NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30319 on Thursday at 6:30 PM. The family will receive visitors from 5:30 to 6:30 PM. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 30 at 1 o'clock PM at St. John Chrysostom Melkite Catholic Church, 1428 Ponce De Leon Ave, NE Atlanta, Georgia 30307 with interment to follow at Westview Cemetery.
