Gordon Moore, 77 of Atlanta, died June 7, 2012 from natural causes. Mr. Moore retired from Honeywell computers where he worked as a field engineer for 23 years. He served in the Army Radio Corps in Germany in the late 1950’s and worked at Cape Canaveral for RCA in Radio Telemetry during the height of the space program. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kerry Anna Moore. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary; son and daughter-in-law, John and Charmaine Moore; grandchildren, Colman and Claire Moore; brother, William Moore; sisters, Marilyn Nelson, Lucy Anderson and Pat Shepherd. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning, June 16th at 10 o’clock at Oglethorpe Hill Chapel. Interment Georgia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday evening, June 15th from 6 to 8 at H.M. Patterson & Son, 4550 Peachtree Road, NE, Atlanta, Georgia, 30319.
