Hampton Hugh Popham Jr.

He was preceded in death by his parents Hampton, Sr. and Sybil Popham and stepmother Janet Popham.

He is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law Don and Tami Popham, Charles and Connie Popham, his sister and brother-in-law Jean and Robert Wade, one nephew Alan Wade and two nieces Megan Popham Walton and Samantha Popham.

Hampton was born in Lincolnton, GA on June 25, 1953. He graduated from Pebblebrook High School in 1972. He resided in Smyrna his entire life. He obtained a GA real estate license in June of 1974. He dabbled in the construction business with his father in his early years. He also held jobs at Baldwin Paving and Lockheed Martin. His last place of employment was with Leading the Way, a media ministry of the Church of Apostles, where he was well-loved and respected for his work.

A memorial service will be held Friday, November 29th at 11 o’clock at H. M. Patterson & Son, Spring Hill, 1020 Spring Street, NW, Atlanta, GA 30309 with Pastor Henry Knowles officiating.
