Isabell Mccallum Perner

Isabell McCallum Perner, born April 20, 1934 in Yonkers, New York, died peacefully December 22, 2010 at Northside Hospital. Mrs. Perner was married to Raymond F. Perner for 53 years. She is the beloved mother of Jeanette Perner Wheatley, John Colin Perner, and James Scott Perner. Her grandchildren are Callie Wheatley, Connor Wheatley, Colin Perner, Carlie Perner, and Tatum Kelly. Her son in law is Bob Wheatley and her daughter in law is Lisa Catoe Perner, and Monica Kelly. Her Cousin is Isabell Duncan of Murrells Inlet S.C. Mrs. Perner was a 43 year resident of Atlanta and an active member of Peachtree Road United Methodist Church. She worked at her church for several years as the Administrative Assistant for the Senior Minister and for Associate Pastors. Mrs. Perner also worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Doctors of the Atlanta Allergy Clinic. Isabell’s parents, Colin and Bella McCallum, were both born in Scotland, and Mrs. Perner was very proud of her Scottish heritage. She also enjoyed sharing holiday time with her extended family and friends. The Inurnment will be in the Columbarium at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church. A memorial service will be held Monday, January 3rd at 4:00 at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church. A reception will follow at the home of John and Lisa Perner.
