
Jack Cowart of Fayetteville Ga. passed away December 17, 2012. Mr. Cowart was born April 14, 1939, at Grady Hospital in Atlanta, GA. He attended Home Park Elementary, O’Keefe High School, and the University of Georgia, where he received a degree in Business Administration and was a member of Alpha Kappa Psi fraternity. He worked his entire adult carrier with Kysor/Warren Refrigeration. Jack was a devoted Christian reading twenty to thirty pages each and every day of the Bible and having read the entire Bible several times throughout his life. He loved all kinds of dogs. He bread and raised Field Champion Beagles and won awards in Field Trials throughout the southeast. Mr. Cowart was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years Betty Jo Cowart. Survivors include: Step daughter Vicki Lynn Gregory, of Gainesville, GA, Brother, Frank Cowart, of Atlanta GA, Brother, Charles Cowart & wife Pam, of Mableton, GA, Nephew, Justin Cowart, of Alexander City, AL, Nephew, William Cowart, of Statesboro, GA, Companion, Bertha Butler, of Hampton, GA, & his two loving dogs, Boo & Bonnie Blu. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, December 21, 2012, at Arlington Memorial Park, 201 Mt. Vernon Hwy, NW, Sandy Springs, GA.
