Jack E. DeLong

Jack E. DeLong passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 28, 2026. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carolyn S. DeLong. Jack is survived by his sons, Jed (Carrie) DeLong and Warren de Long; his sister, Sonja Rand; his cherished grandchildren, Trey (Karen) DeLong, Megan (Travis) Rogers, and Remi DeLong; and his great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Juliet, Jack, and Violet.

Born in Gainesville, Georgia, Jack graduated from high school early and proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Following his military service, he attended the University of Georgia, where he met Carolyn, the love of his life.

Jack had a distinguished career in interior design and served as the final president of W.E. Brown Decorating. Above all, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who treasured his family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Hospice Atlanta or the Dementia Society of America.
