James D. Campbell, 69, an Atlanta native, died May 29, 2010. Mr. Campbell was a veteran of The U.S. Air Force. Jim graduated from The Westminster School and The University of Georgia. He was a vice president and broker for Harry Norman Realtors in the Buckhead office for 28 years. He was also a lifetime member of the Piedmont Driving Club. Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by his son, Craig Campbell and is survived by his wife of 30 years, Nancy J. Campbell; sons, J. David Campbell, III, M.D., Christopher R. Campbell, Scott J. Campbell; grandchildren, James David Campbell, IV, Amelia Lee Campbell, Tristin John Campbell, Ella Rhae Campbell; sister-in-law, Janet McDaniel, her husband, Ralph McDaniel, and their son, Garrett McDaniel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Atlanta Humane Society, 981 Howell Mill Rd, Atlanta, GA 30318. A memorial service will be Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at 2 o’clock at Patterson’s Oglethorpe Hill Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at H.M. Patterson and Son, Oglethorpe Hill Chapel, 4550 Peachtree Rd, NE, Atlanta, GA 30319.
