I have been out of contact with Jimmy since we were in a band together in the early 60s. I remember him as kind and very supportive of me when I was first learning to play guitar and do some singing . He always encouraged me to try different things that I didn’t think I could do . I remember him as being a great musician .
I have thought of Jimmy at various times through the years and wondered if he was still playing drums. I will always remember him as being a great guy .
Please Except my condolences for your loss.

A very special and intensely caring individual, Jim has always been one of those rare people who is just as good as he seems to be! A man of outstanding character, highly respected in his work and an example-setting, uniquely impactful encourager to me and many others who were fortunate to share career paths over the years. Our love and sympathy to Sidney and family and to Jim's many friends. (Mac & Donna Forbes)

He is truly loved by his family. I work with Kent, his brother, and he is always telling us fun stories about growing up and about how much he loved his brother. My heart goes out to the entire family and friends of Jim. He is now at peace with God and will forever be young, carefree and a shining star in our heavenly sky.
