James C. Young, Jr., 85 of Atlanta, died April 21, 2013. A Memorial Service for James C. Young, Jr. will be Friday, April 26 at 2:00 at Peachtree Presbyterian Church with visitation following the service. Jim will be remembered for his unfailing generosity; service to others; and active, humble leadership. He was proud of his service in the United States Marine Corps. A member of Peachtree Presbyterian Church since 1968, Jim was a Stephen Minister, member of the Gene and Martha Wilson Sunday School class, and the Peachtree Squares. He worked at Manry and Heston Insurance Agency from 1966 to the present and belonged to the Executive Park Kiwanis Club. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, 3 children and their spouses, 7 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Peachtree Presbyterian Church Special Ministries.
