Jane W. Abernathy

Jane W. Abernathy, 72, of Chamblee died November 26, 2011. Mrs. Abernathy loved antiques, the beach, gardening, shopping and the Auburn Tigers. Survivors include her husband, William Abernathy; son, Patrick Abernathy; daughters, Lynn Abernathy and Caren Abernathy Martin; grandchildren, Caitlin and Branden Martin; brothers, Brad and Jimmy Wood; sister, Skee Wood. A memorial service will be held Friday, December 2nd at 12 o’clock at Patterson’s Oglethorpe Hill Chapel with Pastor David Walters officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC, 20090-6011. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at H.M. Patterson & Son, Oglethorpe Hill Chapel, 4550 Peachtree Road, NE, Atlanta, Georgia, 30319.
