Janet Louise Vinson Krick

Janet Louise Vinson Krick, age 95, was born in Wilmington, Delaware to Louise and Ralph Vinson on June 6, 1930. Janet attended The University of Delaware and married Robert William Krick on November 4, 1950 at St. Helena's Catholic Church in Wilmington. She and her family moved South in 1960 where they raised 11 children and attended St Thomas More Catholic Church since 1962. Janet worked at Emory University Hospital as a unit secretary/clerk for 12 years; followed by 15 years of serving Emory University students in their Career Center. After 27 years of hard work and dedication, Janet retired in 2010 at the age of 80. Janet and Bob were heavily involved in the Atlanta Boy Choir, traveling all over the world on tours. Janet was passionate about her Catholic faith and her family .

Janet is preceded in death by her husband, Bob; and three of her children: Bob, Stephen and Gregory. Janet is survived by her son, Joe (Wanda Faye) and their children, Jonathan, Janelle, Tangie, Treva and Troy; her daughter, Mary Espinosa (Raymond) and their daughter, Stephanie (Brad) and their children, Garrick, Beckett and Faith Louise, and their son, Ray (Rebecca) and their children, Carter, Pierce and Jake; her daughter, Kathy Jackson (Robert) and their children, Robert and Hamilton; her daughter, Kristen Krick; her daughter, Elizabeth Iliff (Steve) and their children, Luke and Aaron; her son, John Krick and his son, Gavin; her son, Michael Krick; and her son, Sterling Krick and his children, Mathew and Jacob; and Gregory's daughter, Sarah.

A Rosary and Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7, 2025 at 6:00 pm at H.M. Patterson & Son Funeral Home - Oglethorpe Hill, 4550 Peachtree Road NE, Brookhaven, Georgia 30319. Janet's Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, in Decatur on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at 10:30 am, followed by a reception at the church. Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm at Arlington Memorial Cemetery in Sandy Springs.
