Jean C. Strickland, 79, of Suwanee, formerly of Doraville died November 28, 2012. Mrs. Strickland was a member of Johns Creek United Methodist Church and was a member of the Red Hat Society as well as other womens clubs and was an avid card player with several ladies groups. Preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Strickland, survivors include her sons, William L. Strickland and Michael E. Strickland; granddaughter, Christy L. Strickland, A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 15th at 2 o’clock at Arlington Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday, December 14th from 6 to 8 o’clock at H.M. Patterson & Son, Oglethorpe Hill Chapel, 4550 Peachtree Road, NE, Atlanta, Georgia, 30319.
