Joan Trautman, a long-time resident of Atlanta, Georgia, died Friday, June 28, 2019.

Joan was born in Queens, New York to Veronica and Stanley Ucinski on August 21, 1931.

She came to Atlanta in the early 70’s and had a successful career in the residential real estate industry for over 40 years. Joan had a passion for people and a kind and generous spirit. More than anything, she loved her family and socializing with her many friends.

She is survived by her nephews, Richard Ucinski (Sharon), David Ucinski (Nate), Jimmy Ucinski & Robert Kapla; nieces, Barbara Gianfrancisco (Phyl) & Carolyn Kapla; step sons, Philip and Tim Trautman; great nephews & nieces, Ricky & Emma Ucinski & Jennifer & Michael Gianfrancisco; sister in-laws, Sharon Ucinski & Loretta Barrett.

Joan is preceded in death by her parents, Veronica and Stanley; brothers, Frank (Helen) and Richard Ucinski and her sister, Irene Kapla.

A celebration of Joan’s life will be held at 10 am on Monday, July 15th at H.M. Patterson & Son-Oglethorpe Hill Chapel|Funeral & Cremation, 4550 Peachtree Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30319. Condolences may be made online at
