

JoAnne Tuggle Neal, passed away November 26, 2017. A native of Atlanta, she was born July 6, 1924 to John and Mary Tuggle. She is predeceased by her devoted husband of 67 years, Dr. George P. Neal and her brother, John B. Tuggle, Jr.
She attended Girls High and Agnes Scott College before marrying George Neal in 1949. Mrs. Neal was an avid bridge player, a gracious hostess and a passionate collector. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, The Burgess Society of Colonial Williamsburg, the Junior League of Atlanta and the Cathedral of Christ the King. She worked alongside her husband in his dental practice for 25 years.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Paul McDonald, grandsons, Porter McDonald with his wife, Stewart and Neal McDonald with his wife, Lee, three great grandchildren, Whit, Pierce and Georgie McDonald, nephews, John and Tom Tuggle and cousin, Mary Jean Selman. The family will receive friends Thursday, November 30th at Patterson's Spring Hill from 6 until 8 o'clock. A memorial mass will be said Friday, December 1st at 10 o'clock at the Cathedral of Christ the King.
