John "Jack" K. Adams

John “Jack” K. Adams, age 93, of Dunwoody, Georgia passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022. John was born on October 2, 1928 in Savannah, GA. He attended Southern Tech and was captain of the 1950 track team. He married Barbara on March 21, 1964 in Miami, FL. He worked as Installation Foreman for BellSouth and AT&T for 30 years. John was a veteran in the Marine Corps and was involved in the Fraternal Order of Free Masons for 50 years. He enjoyed running and was a Georgia Bulldogs fan. John was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Irene Adams and brother, Donald C. Adams. John is survived by his wife of 58 years, Barbara Adams; son, David Adams and grandchildren, Tristan and Andrew. A visitation for John will be held Sunday, May 15, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at H.M. Patterson & Son-Oglethorpe Hill, 4550 Peachtree Road NE, Brookhaven, GA 30319, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM in the chapel. A committal service will take place on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Savannah, GA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
