Joseph Wendell Conrad

Joseph Wendell Conrad passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 6, 2011. Joe was born in Atlanta, Georgia on June 5, 1958. He is predeceased by his parents Herbert C. Conrad, Sr. and Jeanette M. Conrad, his brother H. Clifton Conrad, Jr. and survived by his beloved wife Kelly Marshall Conrad and daughter Emilie Kate Hedinger (Jeremy) of Beckley W. Virginia, brothers Michael V. Conrad (Lee) Atlanta, GA and Kenneth M. Conrad Buchanan, GA and several nieces and nephews. Joe was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves baseball and Florida Gators football. He loved reading books and listening to music. Along with playing trivia Joe enjoyed working in his garden and being outdoors. Joe enjoyed also spending time with his many friends and work colleagues. He was most recently a Senior Credit Analyst for GM Financial and had a long career in finance and banking. Joe grew up in Tampa, FL and attended H. B. Plant High School and the University of South Florida. He will be missed by his wife, family and friends. A celebration of life will be held at 1 pm Saturday, June 11 at Oglethorpe Hill Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at H. M. Patterson & Son, Oglethorpe Hill Chapel, 4550 Peachtree Road, NE, Atlanta, GA, 30319.
