Joseph Michael Joe DiMercurio

Joe M. DiMercurio, age 56 of Atlanta, Georgia, passed away after a short illness on February 21, 2015. Joe was born November 11, 1958 in Michigan, son of the late Victor DiMercurio and Mary (Brusca) DiMercurio and stepson to the late Nancy DiMercurio.

After a successful career in the computer software industry, Joe transitioned to the window covering business about which he was extremely passionate. Outside of work, Joe enjoyed his dogs, interaction with people, and the love of travel. One of his frequent travel stops was Hawaii, which held a special place in his heart. Joe could also be found in his kitchen with his many friends.

Joe was the beloved spouse of Willard Pitt and brother to Celeste Kuffa and Victor DiMercurio. He is also survived by many loving friends and family.

There will be a celebration in memory of Joe’s life beginning at 10 o’clock on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at H. M. Patterson & Son, Spring Hill, 1020 Spring Street, NW, Atlanta, with a service conducted by Msgr. Francis McNamee at 11 o’clock.
