McCauley, Joyce Francis Joyce Francis Hurley McCauley passed away on Wednesday, May 4 2016 at 81 years of age. She is survived by her three children, Jane Ellen Glasgow, William Henry McCauley (Hank), Christopher Scott McCauley and her loyal dog companions Doris and Perry. Joyce was born in Cedar Bluff, Alabama on September 12, 1934 to Marvin and Maude Hurley where she lived until her marriage to William Henry McCauley, Jr. in 1955. Shortly after her marriage she moved to Atlanta where she worked for 30 years for Southern Company. She was an active member of the Embry Hills Church of Christ and loved reading and studying the bible. A funeral service will be held at the Brookhaven H. M. Patterson & Son chapel on Friday, May 6, 2016 at 2:00pm with Sewell Hall officiating. After that she will head to her final resting place in Alabama where a graveside ceremony is planned for the following day, at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 7th at the Weiss Lake Memorial Garden in Gaylesville, Alabama.
