Joyce Ann Ross, age 70, of Atlanta passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2012. Joyce was a member of Brookhaven United Methodist Church and retired from Southern Co. in 2001 after 30 years of service. She will fondly be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Benny Ross of Atlanta; daughters, Kim (Billy) Phillips of Brookhaven, Missy (Junior) Coker of Lawrenceville; grandchildren, Scott Wischmann, Sarah Wischmann, and Benjamin Coker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Sarah Terrell.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Tuesday at H.M. Patterson and Son Oglethorpe Hill. The family will receive friends on Monday, from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park.
