June Rhoad Turner, age 75, of Dunwoody, passed away Saturday, August 14, 2010. Mrs. Turner was a loving and memorable wife for over 20 years and for every friend she ever met, she was always fondly remembered. She enjoyed flowers, walking on the beach, looking for seashells, doing the chicken dance in Helen, Georgia, travelling with her family, cheering on the Carolina Gamecocks, savoring good crab cakes, spending time with her beloved Siamese cats, watching NASCAR, cooking southern food and enjoying music. Mrs. Turner lived gracefully and courageously. She is survived by her husband, Tracy Turner, of Dunwoody; daughter, Elizabeth Roe, of Denver, CO; and son, Michael Thomas Roe, of Atlanta. A memorial service for Mrs. Turner will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at Patterson-Oglethorpe Hill. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 until 2:00 PM.
