Laura Watson was born April 28, 1954 the daughter of Cathy and Joseph Block of Atlanta. She was a devoted and loving wife, homemaker, cherished daughter, daughter-in-law, sister and doting aunt, a friend to many, and an unselfish giver of gifts and presents. Laura attended Highland School for Girls and was a gourmet cook par excellence; she owned well over 100 cookbooks from the world’s top chefs and she was not shy about calling their restaurants in cities such as New York City, Chicago and San Francisco to ask about a recipe or some ingredient; she certainly knew her way around Star Provisions. Lolly was designated by friends as the travel director and restaurant planner on the great Whistler Ski Trip of ’99. She was an amateur gardener and always filled the outside deck area with geraniums for her birthday celebration each year. She was a long time Atlanta Falcons season ticket holder and fan and was an avid Formula One enthusiast who still believes Schumi will win the championship. Laura will be dearly missed by her husband, family, friends and everyone she met in her daily routine and travels.
