Lettrice Eloise McCormick, 85, of Flowery Branch, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2011. She was born to the late Claude and Mary Higgins, August 22, 1925, in Atlanta, Ga. She married the late William H. McCormick, Sr. in 1948, and they lived together in Atlanta, Ga., where they raised ten children. She was an advocate for children's rights and was loved by the many children whose lives she touched along the way. She is survived by 8 children: William and Pat McCormick, Jr., Glenn and Pat Gaines, T.J. and Sharon Paramore, James and Linda McCormick, Winston and Charlotte Diaz-Matosas, Ricky McCormick, Mike and Tammy Weaver, Johnny and Toni Madrid. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and four great- grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 6th at 11 o’clock at Oglethorpe Hill Chapel. Interment Crestlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 at H.M. Patterson & Son, Oglethorpe Hill Chapel, 4550 Peachtree Road, NE, Atlanta, Georgia, 30319.
