Lil Dunaway of Sandy Springs, GA died February 11, 2015. She was Lillie Mae Hopkins of Atlanta, daughter of the late Emma and Cicero Hopkins. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Sterling Dunaway, and sister, Louise Elizabeth Hopkins. Lil, an Atlanta native was born on January 12, 1920 in her home on 13th Street. She grew up in Atlanta and after marriage lived in Columbus, Powder Springs and Sandy Springs, Ga. She was a member of the St. James Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Emma Marie Hiddleston and grandson, William Craig Hiddleston and his former wife, Carla Hiddleston, and great-granddaughter, Anna Elise Hiddleston. Graveside Services will be held at Crest Lawn Cemetery on Saturday, February 14 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Marie Hiddleston to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society- Georgia Chapter, 1117 Perimeter Center West, Suite E101, Atlanta, GA, 30338.
