Linda Joyce Frady McLeer

She was born on May 27, 1941, in Mt. Airy, GA. She currently resided in Marietta, GA at the time of her passing. She is survived by her husband, Matthew McLeer, daughter Renee Swann, son-in-law Gary Swann and granddaughter Brittany Swann, sisters Chris Williams and Dot Wynn and several nieces and nephews.

She grew up in Mt. Airy, GA and attended North Habersham High School. She was known as “Turkey” for her athletic abilities. She retired in 1999 after being in the insurance business for 37 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Cana and Girlie Frady, sister Ruth Kerby, and brothers James Frady, Fred Frady, Gene Frady and Morris Frady. She was a treasure and will be surely missed. Her motto was, “Laughter is the best medicine”.

A visitation for Linda will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 1350 Hearst Drive NE, Brookhaven, GA 30319. A funeral mass will be held in the sanctuary of Our Lady the Assumption at 11:30 AM. Joyce will be laid to rest immediately following the services at Kennesaw Memorial Park, 1306 Whitlock Ave, Marietta, GA 30064.
