Madeline Olive Calmes, 91, of Sandy Springs, GA died May 15, 2016. She was a member of Wieuca Road Baptist Church for 56 years. An avid gardener and Georgia Master Gardener, she enjoyed helping neighbor’s landscape their yards. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Calmes; her brother, Witsell Padgett; and sisters, Evelyn Sikes and Grace Hullander. She is survived by her son and his wife, Richard and Holley Calmes; grandchild, Paris Kucharski and great-grandchildren, Xander and Zachary Kucharski. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 11:00 am in Arlington Memorial Park, 201 Mt. Vernon Hwy, Sandy Springs, GA 30328.
