

Margaret Kathryn (Peggy) Hynson, 90, died June 11, 2012. She was born September 24, 1921, in Fargo, North Dakota, to the late George and Edith Mckee. She was preceded in death by her 2 sisters, Janice Crice and Sharon Braun, as well as her husband of 60 years, Julian G. (Dink) Hynson. After graduating from the University of North Dakota, Peggy taught school in Sturgis, SD, and met the love of her life, Dink Hynson. During the war, while Dink was overseas, Peggy worked in a bomb factory in SD. Afterwards, she and Dink moved to Atlanta, and started their family. She taught pre-school at Oglethorpe Presbyterian Church for many years and was a member there for 52 years. After retirement she volunteered at Fellowship Mission and at various charities at church and in the community. She was an avid genealogist and reader and a kind woman who was always ready to help someone in need. Peggy was a loving wife, mother, neighbor and friend. She will be greatly missed. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Gary Ready; sons, James Hynson and Barry Hynson; granddaughter and husband, Sherry and John Sineath; grandson and wife, Stephen and Amanda Ready; great-grandson, Gavin, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 14, at ten o'clock at Oglethorpe Presbyterian Church. Interment Westview. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Food Pantry at Oglethorpe Presbyterian Church.
