Margaret Aline Farr Parrott passed away to be in the arms of her Lord on October 28. Born November 10, 1975 she attended The Westminster Schools and was a Georgia Tech graduate earning a degree in International Affairs. In addition to being a mother extraordinary to her five children, Margaret was a true renaissance woman. She enjoyed with great enthusiasm activities ranging from gourmet cooking, creative design and home schooling to outdoor sports such as fishing and riding motorcycles with her family. Her many friends enjoyed her company and often sought her advice on topics such as entertaining guests at home to child rearing issues. When encountering a challenge, a common question among her friends was “what would Margaret do?” Generous to a fault to those who knew her, she was always there to lend a helping hand. Even with these many endeavors her strong Christian faith remained the centerpiece of her life. She and the entire family were active members of the Village Church of Vinings. She was also deeply involved in the Christian mission, Sixty Feet, which provides services to orphaned children in Uganda. Margaret made many trips to that African country often accompanied by some of her children. She is survived by her devoted husband and childhood sweetheart, Thomas French Parrott, four daughters, Mary, Campbell, Greta and Georgia, one son, Thomas, Jr., her parents, Mr. And Mrs. William Farr III, brothers, William Farr IV and Dorsey David Farr, sister, Mary Elizabeth Hutchison and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 10am on Monday, November 2 at the Northside Drive United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations in her memory be directed to Sixty Feet. Online condolences may be made at hmpattersonspringhill.com
