Mark Wynne, brother, son, grandson, uncle, and friend to so many, passed away on Sunday, March 30 from a golfing accident. He was a young man of humility, sincerity, and tremendous compassion. In his quiet way, he walked side by side with those he knew were hurting. He was continually extending his heart.
Mark was a shining star in his family. Fondly known as Marky, Marky Mark, and Dude by his seven nieces and nephews, he had a very special relationship with each of them.
Mark went out into the business world pursuing his own path. He was an insurance agent for State Farm and was proud of his career. He was at home in the out-of-doors. He loved fishing, hunting, training dogs, skiing, golfing, and barbecuing.
Mark leaves behind his parents, siblings, grandmother, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, his beautiful girlfriend, and an abundance of friends. He will remain in our hearts forever. He made his mark here and is now beginning his new life with the Lord. Thanks be to God. In celebration of his life, a private service will be held. An open celebration will take place at the home of Tyler and Robby Wynne at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2nd. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to the Emory Department of Neurosurgery at Grady Memorial Hospital, 1762 Clifton Road NE, Suite 1400, Atlanta, Georgia 30322-4001.
