Mona Ellen Hyde Bullard, age 76 of Rosemont Nursing Home in Stone Mountain, GA, formerly of Chamblee died February 15, 2012. She was born January 2, 1936 in Atlanta to the late W. Ben Hyde and Mona Warnock Hyde. She is survived by her sons, Stephen (Cindy) Bullard of Barre, VT; Scott Bullard of Sarasota, FL; David (Marion) Bullard of Boston, MA and Douglas (Tammy) Bullard Hawkins of Lawrenceville, GA. Also surviving are her sisters, Jeannette H. Dempsey of Acworth, GA; Patty H. Hawkins of Gainesville, GA; Martha H. (Bob) Wallace of Crossville, TN; and brothers W. Lawrence (Midge) Hyde of Tracy, CA; Harold B. (Kaye) Hyde of Cumming, GA; 6 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mona Bullard was a former member of First Baptist of Chamblee and graduated from Chamblee High, Mars Hill Junior College and attended Emory University before her marriage to the late Arthur H. Bullard. There will be a graveside service held at 11AM Monday, February 20, 2012 at Arlington Memorial Park-Sandy Springs with Dr. David Sapp officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Rosemont Nursing Home or the charity of one’s choice.
