Norma D. Bork

Born and raised in Buffalo, New York, Norma eventually made her home in Dunwoody, Georgia, where she became a cherished member of the community. Her Catholic faith was a lasting and important part of her life, and she worshiped for many years at All Saints Catholic Church. Her faith provided a foundation of strength, grace, and compassion that she carried throughout her life and shared with those around her.

Norma was a dedicated nurse who cared for mothers and newborns in the Mother-Baby Unit at Northside Hospital for 15 years. Her compassion and gentle nature made nursing a meaningful part of her life and allowed her to touch the lives of countless families.

After retiring from nursing, she continued to embrace the many joys of life. She enjoyed playing tennis, tending to her garden, and cooking for family and friends. Yet, above all of these interests, her greatest joy was her family. She treasured the time spent together, the traditions they shared, and the memories created across generations.

Norma was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Judge Nathan A. Bork, and by her son, Nathan A. Bork Jr. She and Nathan shared 73 years of marriage, building a life together marked by love, devotion, family, and enduring companionship.

She is survived by her children, Michael Bork; Joseph Bork and his wife, Nubia; Mary Bork; and Melissa Bork; as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will carry forward the love, lessons, and memories she gave so generously throughout her life.

Those who knew Norma will remember her not only for the life she lived, but for the love she gave so freely—to her family, her friends, and her community. Her legacy will live on in the generations she helped shape and in the many lives touched by her kindness, faith, and caring spirit.

A Funeral Mass celebrating Norma's life will be held at St. Jude Catholic Church in Sandy Springs, Georgia, on September 18, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Reception to follow directly after Mass in the Stapleton Center.

Following the Mass, Norma will be laid to rest at the National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia, alongside her beloved husband of 73 years.
