As a graduate of both Briarcliff High and UGA, always one year behind Oscar, I am one who remembers Oscar well. All my memories of him are such that I can point to him as a man whom I hope and pray my own sons will emulate. He leaves large shoes to fill. My wife and I were out of the country at the time of his funeral but want to extend our deepest condolences to all who knew and loved him.
